Mitt's toast. There isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't say or do something absolutely inept and stupid. Today, he files an extension for his taxes. Seriously? The guys hiding millions of moolah in multiple off-shore accounts and countries, plus his tax rate is 13.8%. By not filing, it just makes him look that much more deceitful and cunning as he's quickly trying to move funds around to make himself look... uh, more average. Yeah, right.

Who's running this guys campaign? Bozo?

IF Mitt Romney could get past all the folks his 'Bain Capital' screwed over, IF he could stop killing himself with his own mouth, IF he had a realistic alternative to speed up the economic recovery, IF he could quit changing his Political views as often as his underwear, IF he could be consistent and dependable, He would still have to face a sitting President with a devastating left hook,( the truth) who is going to beat him down with his OWN record. Mittens, if the voting public looks and listens to you in the coming Months, and REALLY thinks about you and your agenda, You are toast. Please, I'm begging you, don't throw the towell in now, I've always wanted to see a President control his glee over facing an person @ the ballot box.  This ought to be a better I am trying to enter a banned term -whipping than a Pacquiao fight.

Karl Rove should be in jail..And the reason Obama won is because the electorate in this Country was so mad at Dick Cheney and Karl Rove..They are a black eye to the morals of the true Republican Party..They would have been better of in Nixon's White House..Oh..They were in Nixon's White House...Which is how Jimmy Carter got elected..Everyone was so mad at Nixon and Ford...Don't be naive and believe anything that comes out of their mouth's..

The Tea Party was duped by the Republicans and no doubt Karl Rove had a hand in that. The Tea Party was demanding fiscal responsibility by the government and instead they elected a bunch of people that were intent on turning the country far to the right on social issues, even to the point of a government shutdown by trying to eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood. The republicans complain about the slow recovery, yet have done everything possible to stop progress, just to make President Obama look bad. They appropriate the messaging that is being used by the democrats, the most recent is the "war on women." Unfortunately for the republicans they have a well established record that shows that they have been more focused on removing healthcare and equal pay rights for women than actually passing laws that could make a difference for people-helping them get jobs. Most people understand that by strengthening a woman's ability to make choices to plan the size of her family helps not only her, but her children and spouse. Some extremists are even saying that you should only have sex if you intend on having children. Do men actually agree with that?

The old guard is coming out now, they think that they can salvage the party that has become splintered and unfocused. When Karl Rove debated Howard Dean at CU a few years ago, he seemed to become uncontrolled and started ranting. That might appeal to some people, but, there are a whole lot of independents that want the elected officials in government to just start working together to solve the problems that we face. We're tired of the games Karl. It's not a matter of who is more clever, who can out maneuver the other guy, who can dig up the most dirt, or make up the most lies.

"This election will be dominated by the economy and jobs, deficit spending, the Affordable Care Act and, to a lesser extent, energy in my opinion," said Rove, a Colorado native.

And this will be what ultimately brings obama down from his little narsissistic perch. People are not duped by his huckster used car salesman pap and pandering this time around. The voters are looking carefully at his utter failure to accomplish anything positive for this country during his term thus far, and are definately considering a change!

Linda, there is no war on women, only an attempt to distract from the real issues facing our country that the current administration has neglected to address properly while pushing forth income redistribution with their 'green agenda'.From Republican elites to Dem elites. The Republican House has passed over 20 jobs related bills, with some Dem support, but Harry Reid refuses to allow them to the floor of the Senate thereby killing them. Remember, we have to have that 'do nothing congress' to run on. Obama has nothing positive to run on so out comes the class warfare and as many distractions the MSM can propagate.

The question is who should be financially responsible for the individual's personal choices and actions? The individual or the government? In my opinion that question is what defines the differences between the left and the right. Using your example of Planned Parenthood, the right sees funding Planned Parenthood as a fiscal issue, while the left see it as a social issue. If you take a close look at the federal budget, you will see a large portion of it goes toward funding social programs in one form or another. With that in mind how do you bring about a more fiscally responsible federal government, without addressing and reducing spending on social issues? In my opinion this country is spending far too much of the country's treasury on social programs and political party posturing (green agenda), neither of which will create the sustainable economy this country needs.

Postby dzerres on April 14th, 2012, 6:49 am #2441955

Rove spent 7 years in the Bush White House and blames everything on Obama. Delusional at best. The big difference between the primary battle in the Dem party back in '08 and the GOP one now is that most Dems said from the start that they could support either candidate. I know that certainly was my view: I just preferred one. The GOP however has torn itself apart between their top 4 and there are a lot of hurt feelings and GREAT video clips that the Dems can use in the fall.

Hope and change!!! I really hope that a change is coming soon to the White House.

The dunce with the big ears needs to be sent back to Chicago.

I don't like Romney. He says whatever is convenient at the time, I don't like Romneycare, I think he's a phony, and I don't think he stands for anything.

He's the lesser of two evils. I hope Obama loses to him in November.

Carl Rove is the biggest cancer this country has to deal with during this 2012 election. He, George Bush and the entire Bush cabinet including Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfled and Condoleeza Rice should be tried for war crimes and treason and found guilty and be sentenced to death by firing squad for their actions.

First of all, they stole the 2000 election by causing the "hanging chad" debacle in Florida eventulally leading to Bush being put into office without being elected by the American people. After getting in office they deliberately and blatantly lied to the American people about weapons of mass destruction and took us into a war that not only devestated our economy and took many American lives but lead us to the current crisis we have in this country today.

Their non-regulation of the finacial industry and handcuffing of Elizabeth Warren by the Secretary of Treasury and Alan Greespan led directly to the financial collapse of our economy.

Barack Obama fortunately has been able to salvage us from the ruins to graudally lead us back on to the path which will once again lead to prosperity in this country.

If you want to keep Democracy alive and stomp on the Republican facist oppression in this country, vote Obama in 2012 and restore the ideals upon which this country was built.
